Sopore, June 12 (KNO) : One militant has been killed in the gunfight that broke out between militants and government forces in Wadoora payeen village of Sopore in Baramulla district on Tuesday. Official sources confirmed to KNO about the killing of one militant. "The identification of slain militant is yet to be ascertained," the police sources told KNO. On Tuesday, a joint team of Army’s 22 RR, CRPF and SoG cordoned off the Wodoora Payeen area in Sopore. The encounter is over in the area after 24 hours of seize. Earlier, the authorities had suspended the mobile internet services in Sopore town. Meanwhile, the administration has decided to keep the educational institutions closed in Sopore town today. (KNO)
